Android Nougat has landed for the Nexus 9 LTE

Owners of the Nexus 9 LTE and Nexus 6 have been patiently waiting since Google announced some weeks ago Android 7.0 'might' make its way to the devices. Google kept its promise as the company finally released Android 7.0 Nougat today for the handsets. The OTA updates are available on Google's developer website.

The news comes amidst the announcement of the Google'Pixel and Pixel XL, the company's new flagship devices. It's great Google released the update for the device, as a lot of users were unaware if the update would eventually arrive – especially due to Google not releasing the update with the other Nexus devices. The update file sets a modest 860MB in size, so be sure to connect to a reliable network connection as there is nothing more frustrating than an update failing.
