Another 200,000 people have started testing Windows 10 in the last two weeks

Back in January, Microsoft said that 2.2 million people were testing Windows 10 Technical Preview builds ahead of its release this summer. Earlier this month, the company revealed that that number had grown considerably, to more than 3.7 million.

Today, the company announced that there are now 3.9 million Windows Insiders worldwide, which means that it has signed up a further 200,000 new additions to the program in less than two weeks.

Microsoft may well have attracted new users to consider the Windows 10 preview program as a result of its recent Build 2015 and Ignite developer conferences, at which it delivered some compelling announcements about the future of the OS.

Today, the company also announced all of the various versions of Windows 10 that will be released later this year, including Home, Pro, Mobile and others.
