ApexDC++ is an innovative Direct Connect client based on StrongDC++ 2.x. It has numerous features such as a plugin to block IP addresses (uses peergaurdian's), super seeding (new to Direct Connect), customisation, themes, and a nice Vista-type general user interface. The development team plan to release a couple more preview versions before announcing their 1.0 stable product.
The second preview release introduces intelligent chunk spreading (also known as super seeding), PM previews, ability to give certain file extensions high.low priority, GUI tweaks and fixes.
