Apple closes Store ahead of "Spring Forward" live stream event

Although not much is known about the Apple's "Spring Forward" event, there is speculation that Apple will announce more details about its upcoming wearable, the Apple Watch. Luckily, Apple will be live streaming the event on March 9th, starting at 10am PST. The Apple Store has already been taken offline while it gets updated with new products and refreshes.

The Apple Watch was first announced late last year, along side the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Although Tim Cook revealed the design and functionality of the device, key pieces of information were left missing. For example, many questioned the battery life of the product, a clear pain point of most every wearable released to date. Later reports surfaced that the Apple Watch would indeed have similar battery life to other wearables, coming in at about a day.

Pricing has also been a key concern since Apple will be releasing three different versions of the Apple watch. Apple has confirmed that the "Sport" model will retail for $349, but pricing for the stainless steel and luxury versions are still unknown. There has also been no mention of the cost of the watch bands that Apple will offer.

Naturally, most of these questions should be answered at Apple's event come March 9th. For those interested and in possession fo a modern iDevice, hit the source link below and make sure that you have Safari 5.1.10 or higher on OS X v10.6.8 or later. You can also watch on mobile using Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. For those with Apple TV, streaming the event will require a 2nd or 3rd generation unit with software 6.2 or later. For those who are not using any of the above, we will try to pull a link to the event as soon as it available.
