Apple releases watchOS 6.1.3 and watchOS 5.3.5 with a fix for heart rhythm notifications

It's once again time to check for updates on your Apple Watch, as the company today released a bug fix update. In fact, there are two updates, watchOS 6.1.3 and watchOS 5.3.5. The latter is for Watches that are paired with an iPhone running iOS 12, since iOS 13 was required to install watchOS 6.

There's only one fix that Apple listed. This update fixes an issue with irregular heart rhythm notifications working properly for users in Iceland. There are also no security fixes listed on the company's security update page.

This update is for all Apple Watch models except for the original, meaning Series 1-5. As you'd expect from the version number, there are no front-facing features included in the update, just that one single fix. To install the update, your Apple Watch will need to be on a charger, and it will have to have a 50% charge. Of course, if you have automatic updates turned on, then it will just happen while your device is charging at some point.
