Last year's immensely popular Battlefield game, which brought the series to World War 1 for the first time, is now available for EA Access and Origin Access subscribers. EA announced Battlefield 1's impending arrival to its subscription services last month, and has stayed true to its promise.
The version that arrives with the Access programs is the game's standard edition, meaning none of the game's expansions are included. Even so, the base game is packed with content, such as the game's single-player story mode, War Stories, that tells the tale of six different allied soldiers in the First World War.
Meanwhile, on the multiplayer side, players fight in massive 64-player battles in maps set across the world, with infantry, vehicles, massive airships, and even horses being involved in combat.
While not a part of the Access programs, the game's upcoming In the Name of the Tsar expansion is set to land in September for premium pass owners, bringing six new maps, the Russian army and more.
EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access on PC are each available at $4.99 a month, or $29.99 a year. As for the amount of games that these services offer, EA Access already includes 50 titles in its vault, with Origin Access rapidly advancing on that number. Titanfall 2, another shooter by EA, arrived on the subscription services earlier this month, giving subscribers plenty of variety when choosing their shooters.
