The DICE-developed World War II shooter from last year, Battlefield V, will soon be making its contents available for free through several upcoming back-to-back free weekend trials. These promotions are happening exclusively on PC via Origin, arriving as a part of the studio's Battlefest 2019 celebrations.
The multiplayer game modes that free players get access to will change every weekend. Per the announcement, the first free weekend will be running from October 10 through 13, offering the Rush game mode. The second will be happening on October 17 through 20 headed by the classic Conquest mode on infantry-focused maps.
The final free weekend kicks off on October 24 and runs until October 27. It will put up Grand Operations mode for free players to tackle on the Twisted Steel, Narvik, Hamada, Rotterdam, and Panzerstorm maps.
In addition to the multiplayer content, all War Stories single-player campaign missions will be freely accessible by all players during the three free weekends. Progress achieved during the promotion by free players will also transfer over to the full game if they choose to purchase Battlefield V or subscribe to Origin Access later.
Those who are interested in jumping in can already pre-load the game from Origin before the festivities officially start tomorrow.
