Belkin debuts MFi power bank with Lightning connector input

A quick search on Amazon will show that there are plenty of power banks solutions available that can charge up your iPhone or iPad. But if you are looking for one that offers a Lightning input, you will be been hard-pressed to find one, especially if you are looking for a model certified by Apple. Luckily, Belkin is ready to fill that gap in the market, with its new BOOST↑CHARGE Power Bank 10K.

According to Belkin, the new power bank is the "first MFi-power bank to recharge via Lightning connector". The unit offers a 10,000mAh capacity battery, a Lightning connector for charging, and two USB Type A ports - one port supporting 2.4A and the other 1A. The power bank also has a set of LEDs on top, that will allow users to see just how much charge is remaining.

The unit is now available to pre-order from the Belkin website and costs $59.99. The product should begin shipping sometime in August and will come in two colors: white and black.
