Betaplace announcement on webnews bug

Just logged into betaplace to see an important message from the admins about the recent file attachment bug.

Effective immediately: The WebNews team discovered a problem with file attachments in WebNews 1.6, the HTML newsgroup client. Attachment functionality is no longer available until we can resolve the issue.

Beta testers will still have the ability to upload and download attachments via our NNTP servers via the Outlook Express (OE). However, if a user posts an attachment via OE, it is not visible or available in WebNews. Outlook Express with be the only vehicle for attachments until a fix can be deployed.
