B&H slashes up to $500 off select MacBook Pros, other tech gear in its Back to School sale

US retailer B&H has launched its Back to School sale with discounts of up to 52% off select tech gear, and among those sales it has slashed up to $500 off top of the range MacBook Pro's.

The highest discount, as mentioned above is for Apple's 15.4" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar (Late 2016, Silver); its full specs can be seen below:

  • 2.9 GHz Intel Core i7 Quad-Core
  • 16GB of 2133 MHz RAM | 2TB PCIe SSD
  • 15.4" 2880 x 1800 Retina Display
  • AMD Radeon Pro 460 GPU (4GB GDDR5)
  • 802.11ac Wi-Fi | Bluetooth 4.2
  • Touch Bar | Touch ID Sensor
  • 4 x Thunderbolt 3 (USB Type-C) Ports
  • 3.5mm Headphone Jack | Stereo Speakers
  • Larger Force Touch Trackpad
  • macOS Sierra

While it normally retails for $4,299.00, it can now be purchased for a "limited time" at $3,799.00 with an instant saving of $500, so no "cash back" or voucher code is required. The same sort of varying discounts can be found on twelve other MacBook models that range between $100 and up to $500 off.

Of course, not everyone is going to be able to fork over the minimum $2,199 for a MacBook, but all that are listed here are late-2016 models, with the exception of one mid-2015 Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro with Retina Display for $2,199 ($300 off).

B&H also has deep discounts on other tech items and accessories that you can check out here. Among them is a Dell 15.6" Inspiron 15 3000 Series Notebook for $479, which includes an instant savings of $100.

It's unclear how long the Back to School sale will remain active, but if you are on the lookout for some new gear, it might be worth your while checking if there's something on offer.
