Bing 'Predicts' had a great summer, preps for fall predictions

If you are unfamiliar with Bing's predictions, the service uses different search and social data to predict the outcome for upcoming events. The service has been fairly successful and has accurately predicted the outcome for different sporting events, TV events and award shows.

As 'Bing Predicts' wraps up for the summer, the service has posted a roundup of its predictions and how accurate the service was. For the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015, Bing was able to predict all six group winners and was 58% accurate when it came to predicting the win, loss or tie results. Bing was also 75% correct when predicting the outcome of the the knockout rounds.

In tennis, Bing was able to accurately pick the winners of this year's Wimbledon and had an accuracy rating of 71% for the entire tournament. Bing was also able to maintain its in accuracy as it was able to predict the outcome of the NBA draft, NASCAR and other sports.
