Camera, Photos, Outlook and other apps get updated on Windows 10 Mobile

Windows 10 Mobile just had a new build released last week, alongside a number of app updates, but it looks like users are in for a treat with even more updates being available today.

A number of important apps are getting updates, though most of them are lacking a changelog. Outlook Mail and Calendar, Photos, Camera and a bunch of MSN-branded apps are all receiving new versions. You might have already received the updates, but in case you haven’t, you can use the “Check for updates” button in the Store.

The most obvious changes are in the Photos app, which feels a bit more stable when sharing images, and also features a new animation on its live tile. The tile now displays your images while also zooming it a bit, which is actually a pretty neat effect when you see it.

The other apps received a bunch of bug-fixes and extra polish as we’re moving closer, not only to the launch of Windows 10, but also to the eventual full unveiling of Windows 10 Mobile.

Since Microsoft took out many of its integrated services and created individual apps, these will now receive much more frequent updates for both new features and bug fixes. All in all this should be much better for Windows 10 Mobile users.
