Caviar releases a $2500 Nokia 3310 variant commemorating this year's G20 Summit

It was only a few months ago when HMD Global announced the return of everyone's favorite Nokia phone, the 3310. Although it offered a similar styling to the original that was released in 2000, it wasn't the exact same model that you could have purchased back then. Instead, the new model offered an updated OS, color display, and even managed to include a 2MP rear camera. Naturally, there is nothing special about any of this, as they are things you have come to expect on a phone being produced in 2017.

But what if you are looking for something a bit more unique, something that is classified as commemorative? Caviar has recently introduced its latest edition to its 3310 line with the 'Putin-Trump Summit' edition.

The device was created ahead of a meeting between United States President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin that will occur tomorrow at the G20 Summit in Germany. To get the full details, you can read the translation of the product description down below.

In honor of the meeting of the Russian and US presidents, Caviar created a collector's model of the Nokia 3310 with the portraits of the leaders of the two countries. First both presidents profiles are arranged on the same device. The fact that their eyes fixed on the one side - undoubtedly expresses the common desire for progress in US-Russian relations. However, do not forget about the principle and hardness necessary for the protection of justice and their own interests, the interests of his country - in order to emphasize these features, the designers used a hardened titanium with a pattern of "Damascus steel". The phone design is interpreted as an emblem of the G20 summit and the date and venue of the historic meeting.

Unlike the standard model that is offered by HMD Global, the Caviar model will come in a luxurious leather wrapped case that is lined with black velvet. As for the phone itself, the handset is crafted from titanium and looks to have Damascus patterns on its exterior. The circular emblem that features Trump and Putin are plated in gold, along with the placards that can be found above and below.

The Caviar 3310 will come in at 149,000 rubles or around $2,477. If the newly revealed model isn't to your liking you can always look around the site for one of the other options.
