City of the Dead Not Hip

Kuju Entertainment has announced they are looking to replace bankrupt publisher Hip Interactive as developers of City of the dead. Kuju plans to do this with the help of the receivers, Ernst and Young Solicitors.

The game, which is being developed for multiple platforms (Xbox, Playstation 2 and PC), is being created with well known zombie movie director George A. Romero. City of the Dead features full online play and full Havok Physics engine.

Kuju Managing Director Jonathan Newth said, "There have already been several interested parties in the game, the team and the technology, and we are hopeful that some elements of the project will continue beyond the unfortunate demise of Hip Interactive Inc."
