While the Humble Store is giving away Telltale's The Walking Dead Season 1, Steam is also jumping in on the action by giving away 'Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine'. Well received at launch in 2013, the game is an indie co-op title by Pocketwatch Games, where players are tasked with carrying out various heists and robberies.
The game is played out in a top-down perspective with a focus on stealth, as the few weapons that exist arrive with very limited ammo. The game offers eight characters to choose from, each one bringing various quirks to the table, such as opening locks faster, putting guards to sleep, and hacking into security systems.
While the game is playable in single-player, the experience is mainly catered towards a multiplayer experience. Up to four players can play together in online or shared screen co-op.
Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine is now available to permanently claim on its Steam store page for free, however, be quick as the offer only runs until September 8, 10am PT. It seems the giveaway is a promotion for Pocketwatch Games' upcoming strategy title, Tooth and Tail. Moreover, all Monaco owners will receive a 10% discount when pre-ordering Tooth and Tail.
