CronusMAX lets you use your Xbox 360 controller on the Xbox One

If you have been wanting to use your old Xbox 360 controllers on Microsoft's new Xbox One console, a company called CronusMAX has come to the rescue with the latest software update to their console hardware add-on. The new software version enables the Xbox One to use Xbox 360 gamepads when the CronusMAX product is connected to the console.

In a post on the company's forum, CronusMAX says that the software update enables a host of new controller options for the Xbox One. In addition to wired and wireless support for the Xbox 360 gamepad, Sony's DualShock 3 and 4 controllers can also be used. If you have a keyboard or mouse, the CronusMAX update also supports those devices on the Xbox One, along with the Wiimote and Wii U Pro controllers from Nintendo. You can seem how these gamepads work on the Xbox One in the above video.

The CronusMAX add-on itself has a price of $59.99. Unfortunately, it looks like there's is a lack of units for sale at the moment. The company's official website lists three retail outlets that are supposed to sell the device in the U.S. but none of them list the CronusMAX as currently being available.
