Hopefully many of our European readers are now enjoying their Kinect that went on sale earlier today. The launch was a big success and we also have news of a new XBLA title and Xbox Live! Avatar Gadgets for Windows Phone 7.

MotoGP 10/11 Release News

Capcom has let us know that they have started work on MotoGP 10/11 and plan to release the game on the PlayStation 3 and on the Xbox 360 in March 2011. The game is being developed by Monumental games and will have all of the content from the 2010 MotoGP season as well as updates for the 2011 MotoGP when that season starts.

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit in the record books

EA has stated that their demo release of upcoming racer, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, has been downloaded over two million times since it landed online. The game has you taking part as either cops or racers in various events online via the new Hot Pursuit social network called Need for Speed Autolog. The full game launches next week in both America and Europe.

EA to launch Wildlife: Forest Survival

Electronic Arts is launching a new title on both Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Wildlife: Forest Survival is a new multiplayer game that has the player take the role of wild animals who battle through the forest environments. Xbox Avatar Gadgets launches

Microsoft has launched "Avatar Gadgets" for Windows Phone 7. It's a simple little app that has little to do with gaming other than making use of your Xbox Live! avatar, it comes with devices to use such as flashlight, spirit levels, rulers, as well as coin flipping and a virtual lighter. It's cheap and cheerful, though many of these things are free elsewhere; you can download it from the Windows Phone Marketplace now.

iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad News

Mr Bean is out of control on the iPhone

Everyone’s favourite clumsy funny man Mr Bean now has a game out on the iPhone. Rather than basing the game on the live action TV series, it is based on the cartoon series of the same name. In Mr Bean: Out of Control you try to guide him through various obstacles as he races out of control down a hill. The company announced that they plan to release five Mr Bean titles on the iPhone and say it is aimed at everyone from Children and upwards. You can download the game on the iTunes App store now.

PlayStation 3 News

LOVEFiLM launches

Sony has today announced that LOVEFiLM has launched on the PlayStation 3 in the UK. The service allows you to stream movies and TV episodes over the internet. To use the service you must subscribe to one of LOVEFiLM's various subscription services which start from £5.99 a month. The application is great on the PS3 and well worth getting if you are a film fan.

Faery: Legends of Avalon launches on XBLA

RPG fans will be pleased to hear that Faery: Legends of Avalon has launched on Xbox Live! Arcade today. The game is said to have over 10 hours of gameplay thanks to a main quest line and side-quests. Playing as either an Elf or Fairy, you will come across many creatures and monsters in the game as you try to build up your experience and get yourself some companions. The game costs 1200 Microsoft points and is online now.

Kinect Launches in the UK

Microsoft has launched Kinect for the Xbox 360 in the UK to great publicity and some good turn outs for their midnight party. The star filled event took place at the Natural History Museum Ice Rink in London and had stars Leona Lewis and boyband The Wanted on hand to keep the crowds entertained.
