Beyondthepillars has sent over a whole load of new screenshots for the upcoming second episode of their independent RPG title Winter Voices. The game can be picked up on the https://www.wintervoices.com website or via steam on both Windows and the Mac.

Swarm announced for PSN and XBLA

Deathspank developers Hothead Games have announced that they will be releasing a new comedy action game called “Swarm” early in 2011. The game has you take control of 50 Swarmites as you move them through a battle of survival. Don't worry though, you can kill off nearly all of them, but you must keep at least one alive to complete the game! Swarm will be released on both PlayStation Network and on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, let's hope it is as funny as Deathspank.

Free R.U.S.E. DLC Coming

UBISoft has announced that new downloadable content for R.U.S.E. will be released next month for the PlayStation Network, Xbox LIVE Arcade and on Steam. The DLC will be called "The Manhatten Project Pack" and contains new challenges and three brand new multiplayer maps. Here are the details directly from UBIsoft:

The Manhattan Project Pack offers new challenges, including three exclusive multiplayer maps along with two additional multiplayer modes. These modes will affect strategy, pace, and will allow you to create nuclear cannons and benefit from accelerated technology evolution.

Details of the multiplayer maps are as follows:
-  Twilight of the Gods, 2 vs. 2
-  Vesuvio, 2 vs. 2
-  Guns and Tulips, 3 vs. 3

The two additional multiplayer modes will include:
-  Nuclear War: all prototype factories and upgrades will be unlocked from the beginning. Use them smartly and embark in spectacular battles with your enemies.
-  Total War: you’ll start in year 1939 with all the units and the specificities of that time. You will then unlock 1942 units and 1945 units step by step. Will you be smart enough to master the unique specificities of all these units?

Alan Wake landing on Xbox LIVE Games on Demand

Popular Xbox 360 title Alan Wake is coming to Microsoft's Games on Demand service. The game will be released on November 23 for 2960 Microsoft Points. Despite the game being download only, it doesn't come with the additional DLC. The Signal and The Writer DLC can be downloaded separately for 560 points.

Cookie Rush hits the App Store

Mobjoy Studio has announced that they have released Cooke Rush for the iPhone. The game involves players stopping villagers from being crushed to death by a rolling cookie. You do this by placing trampolines around the levels and guiding them away to safety.

Star Battalion HD released today

Gameloft has let us know that Star Battalion HD has been released for the iPad. The game was previously released on the iPhone and iPod touch and has been extremly popular with those who have bought it. The iPad version ships with Game Center support for those of you who have already installed iOS 4.2.

The Next BIG Thing release date and screenshots

We have been told that "The Next BIG Thing', the next title by Pendulo Studios (behind the Runaway games) will be released on March 25, 2011. The game is once again a point and click adventure, and this time introduces new characters. We also have three new screenshots of the game in our gallery below. Here is a little bit more about the story:

After putting the adventure game genre back in the spotlight with the Runaway trilogy, which has captivated more than a million players during the last decade, Pendulo Studios is back with an original adventure game. The Next BIG Thing puts a fun, classy twist on the movie genre with a lighthearted adventure packed with references to popular movies and TV shows.
