Call of Duty: Black Ops Tonight

As most fans will know - Call of Duty: Black Ops will launch around the world at midnight tonight. Many stores across America and the U.K will be open for midnight sales, and are offering quite a few are doing deals to try and sell it off at the cheapest price. Keep a look out tonight to see who has the best offers and enjoy the game!

Enslaved Flops

In what is seen as a surprise to many - Namco Bandai's Andy Serkis driven action-adventure game Enslaved: Odyssey to the West hasn't met the companies expectations. The title has only so far managed to sell 800,000 units around the world, far less than Namco were expecting despite the good reviews and promotion the game had. The game also suffered at launch due to the PlayStation 3 version strangely not having Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, something the company said would be added via a patch...but nearly a month down the line and the issue has not been fixed.

Pixeline and the Jungle Treasure announced

A new 2D platforming adventure called Pixeline and the Jungle Treasure is heading to the iOS, but it will also be making its way to a whole host of other formats including Windows Phone 7, Android, PC and Mac in the New Year. The game is a side-scroller and has you dodging pits, spikes and more to get through the jungle levels. The game will have over 23 levels across 5 different worlds and is playable for all ages. Pixeline will be released on iOS at the beginning of December when we will run a full review of the game.

Fallout: New Vegas sells big

Bethesda have announced that Fallout: New Vegas has now shipped over five million copies worldwide. The game, which launched just last month on Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows has had some great reviews despite the titles numerous bugs and glitches.

Windows Phone 7 News

New Xbox Live! titles hit the marketplace

A couple of new Windows Phone 7 titles have landed on the Marketplace over the past day. First off we have the overly expensive and the not as good as the iPhone version, release of Guitar Hero 5 which is selling at £8. The other Xbox Live! based title new on the marketplace is Need for Speed Undercover. The game sells for £3.99 and has been designed for Windows Phone 7, it looks good and you feel the speed well. It is controlled by tilting your device as well as pressing the screen to break and do nitro boosts. We will have a full review of Need for Speed Undercover for Windows Phone 7 this weekend.

iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad News

BANG! The Spaghetti Western board game on the way

We have been sent in a few screenshots from both the iPad and iPhone versions of the upcoming board game title called BANG. BANG! is the card-based game from Italian board game specialists dVGiochi. Players take on the roles of various western-based characters from Calamity Jane to Bart Cassidy. The game is due for release next month. The company has also released a live action trailer for the game too on their website.

Old Favorite Gobliins Released

The old Atari ST and Amiga favorite from the 1990's has been re-released on the iPhone. The game has you taking part in 22 levels in which you try to solve puzzles. It also has the original soundtrack and additional hints. Gobliins is on the iTunes App Store for just $.99 or 59p

PlayStation 3 News

New PS3 Bluetooth Headset

Sony has announced that a new Bluetooth headset for the PlayStation 3 is on the way. The headset is glossy black, 30 per cent smaller and comes with noise cancellation. The rest of the features are the same as the last model, which included a High-Quality mode for better sound, charging slow and six hours of charge. It is due to sell at $50

Battlestar Galactica Beta begins

The closed beta release of browser based game; Battlestar Galactica has just got under way. The game will have players taking on missions as either Humans or Cylons in PvE and PvP combat as well as mining and various other quests. The game has had a number of promising previews so we look forward to hearing your views on the game.

Playable Demo of "The Ball" Released

Promising title - The Ball now has a demo online. The demo can be downloaded directly from https://www.iceberg-interactive.com. The game is due to have a full European release on Friday, while the game is available for many of us to download right now via Steam. The Ball is a first person based action adventure title that runs on Epic's Unreal Engine 3.

As a swashbuckling archaeologist working on the slopes of a dormant volcano somewhere in Mexico, you get stuck in a cavern. It doesn’t take long before you realize this is more than just a cave. You reveal ancient ruins that have been hidden from outsiders for centuries and discover a mysterious artifact, a gold and metal-shelled Ball. As you progress towards solving the mystery of this amazing place you must unlock the secrets of The Ball and learn to control this ancient artifact. You will also start to encounter not just puzzles and traps, but also various strange creatures – the guardians of this mystery.
