Dark Horizons: Lore Beta Sign-Up

Max Gaming Technologies passed along word that it has launched the official beta registration page for the Dark Horizons: Lore Open Beta, giving players a chance to be one of a thousand testers to help give this upcoming online action game a serious stress test.

Dark Horizons: Lore is one of several games set in the Dark Horizons Universe in the mid 22nd century. The game puts players behind the controls of 6 of the 22nd century's most powerful war machines - the Mechanized Assault Vehicle, or MAV. Remotely piloted from control pods located halfway around the globe these giant war machines armed with the latest technologically advanced weaponry including plasma rifles, cannons and missiles. Players can customize these hulking iron giants and pilot one MAV at a time or gain extra experience by controlling a MAV group or even an entire battalion. Players can battle on the side of the conglomerate of free nations, the Federated States, or the reborn Soviet block as the Eastern Confederation. The game also offers persistent character play as opposed to persistent world play, which means that what you do in one game can carry over to the next and give players that fight hard and win advantages and bonuses.
