Dead in Bermuda is now free on EA Origin for a limited time

EA is back with another free game via its On the House promotion, arriving as a replacement for the previous titles it had on offer since March: Theme Hospital and Syberia II. Origin users can now grab the survival strategy game, Dead in Bermuda for free. Developed by French studio CCCP, the game was released back in 2015, garnering positive reviews from players. Its trailer can be seen above.

The game's description taken from its Origin store page is as follows:

DEAD IN BERMUDA is a survival management game with RPG and adventure elements, in which you lead a team of 8 survivors from a plane crash on a strange island. Assign your survivors to tasks, gain experience and level up your survival skills, research and craft new items for the camp, explore the island for resources and solve the mysteries behind an ancient atlantean prophecy.

The minimum system requirements, seen below, are quite modest by modern standards, not even requiring a dedicated graphics card:

  • OS: Microsoft® Windows® XP SP3
  • Processor: 2 GHz
  • Memory: 512 MB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 700 MB available space
  • Additional Notes: 1280x720 minimal screen resolution

However, it seems not all regions will get access to Dead in Bermuda for free, with Origin presenting Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault instead for some users in regions outside the United States.

No matter which game is being offered, free is quite a hard price to say no to, with the claim page available here. Be sure to grab it fast as there is no definite time for how long the offer will last.
