DesktopX adds objects to the desktop

Stardock has released the public BETA of DesktopX version 2. DesktopX is a program that allows users to *easily* add true objects to their desktop. With it, they can put things that are both useful (weather, resource, and internet monitoring, MP3 players, ActiveX controks, etc.) or just cool (fish swimming around on the desktop, pretty icons, etc.).

Even if you don't use the objects, it allows users to enhance their desktop by adding special effects to desktop icons and letting users control which icons show and can provide desktop security.
