Dissidia Final Fantasy NT coming to PlayStation 4 early next year

Dissidia Final Fantasy is an action RPG fighting game developed and published by Square Enix. It was initially released back in December of 2008 for Playstation Portable, and was also rebooted as a Japanese arcade game in 2015. Now, Square Enix, in partnership with Team Ninja - a fighting game studio from Koei Tecmo Games, has announced Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for Playstation 4.

The game will feature more than 20 characters from the Final Fantasy franchise, which are divided in five classes; Vanguard, Assassin, Marksman, Specialist, and Summon. Some of the popular characters include Ifrit, Shiva, and Odin. Players will be able to choose from a range of characters in 3 vs. 3 combat shown from an over-the-shoulder perspective. The "bravery combat system" is also included in the latest entry, Square Enix says:

The game also brings back the DISSIDIA series’ unique “bravery combat system,” alongside unparalleled visuals and seamless gameplay.

The company also goes on to note that more information regarding the title will be offered at E3 2017.

The game will be released in North America in early 2018 as indicated in the trailer. Neowin will be on-site at E3 2017, so stay tuned for the latest news as it happens.
