DOOGEE to officially launch S59 Pro on December 15

DOOGEE, a Chinese smartphone company that focuses on making rugged smartphones at affordable prices has announced a launch event for its latest model, the S59 Pro. The upcoming top-of-the-line smartphone from the brand is scheduled to make its international debut on December 15 at 11:00 AM GMT. The launch event will be live-streamed on YouTube.

Most of the specifications of the S59 Pro have already been revealed. It is set to arrive with a 5.71-inch HD+ display and run Android 10 out the box. It will be powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 CPU with a clocking speed of 2.0 GHz. The budget rugged device will sport a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 16MP AI Samsung main lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, an 8MP macro lens and a 1MP depth sensor.

Other features that have been confirmed so far are a massive 10,050mAh battery, NFC support, Google Pay Protect, 4GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and a powerful speaker drawing 2W of power. The smartphone will also have waterproof and dust resistance with an IP68 and IP69K rating. Those who are interested in purchasing the device will be able to choose between three colour options: black, green and orange.

As for the price, the DOOGEE S59 Pro will be available to buy internationally at the price of $199.99. Pre-orders are currently open globally and can be placed on AliExpress. Those who are interested to catch the virtual launch event can tune in to the official DOOGEE YouTube channel on December 15.
