EA shutting down a ton of servers, gasp!

Well now, EA is sure to make some fans very happy after this one. Apparently EA is shutting down a boatload of servers for several PC and console games. Some of the games are quite old, while some aren't so old. Needless to say, I'm sure some of you won't be to happy about this news. Note that the games listed below were originally announced way back in May, but I did not report on it, and since Armies of Exigo was the first I've heard of any EA server shutdowns in awhile, I did some checking. Servers for the games listed below will be shut down on the indicated dates. You may continue to play the games online up until these dates, but certain community programs may begin to close down prior to the shutdown dates.

All of us at EA would like to thank you for your valued participation in our online gaming community and hope that your enthusiasm for these games extends to our current lineup and beyond.
