Elder Scrolls Online's Morrowind expansion available two weeks early to existing PC players

Elder Scrolls Online's upcoming expansion, Morrowind, is slated to arrive next month. However, an announcement by Bethesda has detailed an opportunity for existing PC and Mac players to begin playing the expansion earlier than everyone else.

Elder Scrolls Online owners who purchase the expansion's Digital Upgrade or Digital Collector’s Edition Upgrade versions will be able to join the early access period. Furthermore, players that have purchased the Physical Collector’s Edition can get into early access as well, which they can accomplish by contacting the game's customer support here.

Keep in mind the early access isn't a trial period, nor will it have any restricted content in any way, with Bethesda stating "Early Access players will receive the full game, play on live servers, and will retain all progression." The firm also stated that "The Early Access period will allow for final gameplay tuning and polishing before the game launches for everyone in June,".

PC and Mac players that meet the aforementioned requirements will be able to bring their existing character or make a new hero to start their Morrowind journey on May 22, which is when the early access period is slated to start.

Meanwhile, for all other players on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind will officially launch on June 6.
