Epic Games Store is giving away Railway Empire and Where The Water Tastes Like Wine

Epic Games Store has put on offer Railway Empire and Where The Water Tastes Like Wine to claim and keep for free as this week’s giveaway, taking the place of Into the Breach.

Along with the giveaway, to celebrate its long-running Support-A-Creator program, the store is now offering discounts of up to 70% for select creators' favourite titles. Creators will also be getting a higher revenue share when customers purchase some of these titles during the sale, which lasts until September 24. You can have a look at all the titles that are discounted, over here.

Railway Empire is a tycoon simulation where the player is tasked with the ambitious goal of setting up a railway empire in the United States, set between 1830 to 1930. There are also several expansion packs available to purchase separately that expand the locations and locomotives. Here’s how the Epic Games Store describes the title:

In Railway Empire, you will create an elaborate and wide-ranging rail network, purchase over 40 different trains modelled in extraordinary detail, and buy or build railway stations, factories and attractions to keep your network ahead of the competition.

Where The Water Tastes Like Wine is a narrative-driven title exploring the era of the Great Depression in the United States. Originally released in 2018, it was developed by Dim Bulb Games and Serenity Forge, and features music composed by Ryan Ike. Here’s how the Epic Games Store describes it:

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a Narrative-Adventure game about traveling, sharing stories, and surviving manifest destiny. Players wander across a folkloric Depression era United States at their own pace, meeting strangers with their own stories to tell.
