Facebook bug-fixing app update rolled out for Windows Phone

Microsoft has rolled out an update for its Facebook beta app on Windows Phone, which typically receives new features ahead of the stable release. This update tackles notification-related fixes for deep links. Deep linking allows you to load a web URL directly in a compatible mobile app instead of a mobile website.

Included in the changelog for version 8.3.6.1:

  • Notification deep linking fixes
  • Bug fixes

These bug fixes are currently not available on the stable release, but as with each update they will be ported over in due course. But if you didn't already know that there's a beta Facebnook app for Windows Phone, you do now. Grab it here on the Windows Store.
