F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is a first-person shooter that brought stunning graphics and a innovative slow-motion feature. F.E.A.R. begins when a paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound, and the recon units were sent to eliminate the problem. Sierra recently announced that the multiplayer aspect of the game will become completely free tomorrow, which will bring 19 new multiplayer maps and 10 new game play modes.
The 1.07 patch prepares retail gamers with the free Combat multiplayer, so both can play each other. Along with this compatibility upgrade, the patch brings many new GUI features. You can view the full list of changes here.
