Put down your zombie slashing machete for one second and take a look at the brand-new trailer for Telltales Games’ “The Walking Dead – A New Frontier”.
It has been five months since Telltale Games graced fans with the teaser trailer for the upcoming season in the company’s acclaimed saga. Since then, not much has been released in terms of actual gameplay or even story narratives.
At The Game Awards 2016, developers at Telltale Games took to the stage to unleash a brand new trailer that attempts to yank at your heart strings, while also offering viewers the latest glimpse at the teenage Clementine, who will be a playable character alongside another, named Jarvis.
The new season is called "A New Frontier", and is set four years after the zombie apocalypse began. However, the trailer opens with a flashback apparently set prior to the outbreak, or perhaps at the very beginning, just when everything began to take a turn for the worse.
Kevin Bruner, CEO and co-founder of the studio announced the series will premiere with two of the five episodes. Due to the scale of story, developers were not able to merge the two episodes as one, and so will premiere as two separate parts, starting with “The Ties that Bind”.
