Five new games are available for Xbox One Backward Compatibility, the first in over a month

It's been well over a month now since Microsoft last added new titles to the list of Xbox 360 games that are playable on the Xbox One via the Backward Compatibility program. Today, the firm finally added five more, bringing the total count on the list to 391, moving the list a bit closer to the milestone of 400 games.

Here are today's additions:

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood ($19.99)

Radiant Silvergun ($14.99)

All of the games that are currently on the Backward Compatibility list are for the Xbox 360, but Microsoft announced at E3 that it will be offering games for the original Xbox through the program as well. These will be coming later this year, and should expand the library of games for the Xbox One family of consoles even further.

The company also announced next month's Games with Gold today, just in case you're looking for more games on the cheap (or for free, in this case). Those include Grow Up (Xbox One), Runbow (Xbox One), Kane & Lynch 2 (Xbox 360), and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean (Xbox 360). You've also got a few days left to claim some of this month's Games with Gold, including SpeedRunners (Xbox One), Watch_Dogs (Xbox One), and Dragon Age: Origins (Xbox 360).
