If crosswords are your thing, you may be pleased to hear that running from now until October 6th, Microsoft is offering a free one-year subscription to the New York Times Crossword app if you purchase a new Surface Pro 3 via the Microsoft store.
A one-year subscription to the app usually costs $39.99, though free 7-day access to both the daily puzzle and calendar archive is available when you first download it if you would just like to try it out. Those who make use of the app on a Surface tablet can also use the pen to write directly on the puzzle itself.
