Friday's PC game deals get us ready for the weekend

We made it! Friday is here which means the weekend is about to begin. But before you start relaxing or seeing a concert or taking in a movie you can try to check out some of the many PC game sales deals that we have discovered for your pleasure and consideration. Over at the Steam web site you can purchase the revival of the quiz game You Don't Know Jack is now available for $9.99, a 50 percent price cut from its normal price. Also on sale on Steam this weekend is a bundle of two sim games, Railworks 2 and Farming Simulator 2011. You can get both for $32.49, another 50 percent price cut.

The Direct2Drive web site has several first person shooter games on sale this weekend only. Among the games included in the sale are Crysis 2 ($41.97), Bulletstorm ($29.97),  Medal of Honor ($14.97), Battlefield Bad Company 2 ($9.97) Mass Effect 2 ($9.97) and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl (a mere $4.98)

Over at the GoG.com web site you can find a number of RPG games on sale that are published or owned by Activision. The games include Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption, the Betrayal at Krondor Pack and Return to Krondor. All of these games are on sale for $4.19 each, a 30 percent price drop. Finally the Impulse download site has a one day sale for Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes. You can get the humor-themed fantasy RPG from publisher Merdidian4 for a mere $4.99.
