A Japanese publisher From Software has acquired rights to the Tenchu series from Activision. They will now be handling the publishing and development of future Tenchu series games. The deal covers the worldwide trademark and copyright ownership for the Tenchu series, but it does not apply to previous titles - only to future games, such as the forthcoming Tenchu Kurenai, which is set to arrive in Japan later this month. No release date has been set for the westerns but Activison will continue to publish arrangements for distribution in USA and Europe.
