Frontier's Jurassic World Evolution has Jeff Goldblum reprising his role from movies

Frontier Developments, the studio behind popular games such as Elite: Dangerous and Planet Coaster, announced at E3 2017 that it is working on a new theme park management game based on the Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World Evolution.

Today, the developer revealed that Jeff Goldblum will reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the game, who is also slated to return to the movie series in the upcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom movie.

"I'm going to be with you the whole game, as Dr. Ian Malcolm, that's the character that I play in those Jurassic Park movies," says Goldblum in the announcement video, adding "I highly recommend it. It gets 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums. That's my highest rating."

Frontier elaborated on how Dr. Ian Malcolm's character will interact with players in a press release as follows:

Jurassic World Evolution tells an all-new story that touches on key characters and events from across the Jurassic World film franchise. Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm guides players through the moral choices and tactical decisions that will test their building and management skills as they attempt to successfully run their own Jurassic World.

Jurassic World Evolution doesn't have a confirmed release date just yet, but it is planned for launch sometime this summer for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Maybe in the vicinity of the new movie's launch in June.
