If you were to pick a character from the tens of thousands available from the Marvel Comics pantheon of super heroes and villains, one name that is likely not on your mind is Hit Monkey. Yet, that is exactly what publisher Activision and its development team at High Moon Studios is doing.
A teaser website has now been posted for the Hit Monkey game, along with the above image. No other information about the game has been revealed, other than it will come out in 2013. However, with the San Diego Comic-Con coming up next week, it's a safe bet that more info will be revealed at that time.
Hit Monkey is a relative newcomer to the Marvel universe. He first appeared as a digital comic in 2010 and later received his own print mini-series. As you might guess from the character's name, he's a well trained assassin who also happens to be a monkey. Go figure.
High Moon Studios was acquired by Activision in 2008 and since then the developer has created games exclusively based on the Transformers franchise. Their latest game, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, is scheduled for release on August 21st for the PC and other platforms.
