Microsoft's chairman and chief software architect Bill Gates is celebrating today after his wife Melinda gave birth to a baby girl.
Phoebe Adelle Gates was released from development at the weekend at Overlake Hospital Medical Center in suburban Bellevue.
The baby weighed 9lb 13oz, a family spokeswoman told Associated Press reporters.
The couple have two other children.
