Gearbox licenses Unreal Engine 3

Gearbox Software announced yesterday that they had entered into a long-term agreement with Epic Games to use the Unreal Engine 3 technology in thier future next-generation Console and PC games. Previously, Gearbox has used the Unreal Engine 2 technology for thier Brothers In Arms series (including the recently gold Brothers In Arms: Earned in Blood sequel). Gearbox will use Unreal Engine 3 technology to power new games and Brothers In Arms 3, which was just announced at the Tokyo Game Show. It will be made available on both the PC and Playstation 3.
