GM seeds for iOS 11, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11 are now available

Today, Apple held its latest major event, where it announced three new iPhones, including the 8 and 8 Plus, and the all-new iPhone X. There's also a new Apple TV 4K, and the Apple Watch Series 3 with cellular connectivity. All of these products are slated for launch on September 22, which means that it's time to finalize the software.

Following the event - as the company always does - GM seeds were released for iOS 11, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11. There's no new build of macOS 10.13 High Sierra, so that will probably arrive later on this month.

iOS 11 contains quite a few new features, such as multitasking improvements and a new Files app. The Control Center has been redesigned as well, and this is most notable on the iPad. In fact, you can now have three apps on the screen on an iPad, with Split View and Slideover being used at once.

The new OS also ditches support for 32-bit apps, so if you've got anything on your phone that hasn't been updated in a long time, those apps may stop working. Developers can still support 32-bit devices though by targeting iOS 10 or earlier.

watchOS 4 isn't quite as exciting. It includes a new Siri watch face, which is meant to proactively show you what you need to see. Apple also partnered with Disney on Toy Story watch faces, and there's a Kaleidoscope watch face. You'll find some redesigned apps and new fitness features as well.

tvOS 11 really isn't a major update, and you won't find any new front-facing features. The release notes show a few minor known issues, which have to do with the developer end of things.

If you're currently running the betas, you should be able to grab the final builds through Settings on your iPhone, the Apple Watch app, and Settings on your Apple TV.
