Google Fi now has Samsung's 5G phones, offers $300 credit for a limited time

Google is expanding the number of devices available under Google Fi by adding the latest 5G phones from Samsung. This will allow Google Fi customers to use one of Samsung's latest flagship phones and experience 5G speeds nationwide in the United States.

To cater to the different needs of customers, Google is bringing a bunch of 5G phones from Samsung under Google Fi. This includes:

  • Galaxy Note20 5G
  • Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G
  • Galaxy S20 5G
  • Galaxy S20+ 5G
  • Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G
  • Galaxy A71 5G

For a limited time, Google and Samsung are also offering a $300 Fi credit to customers who purchase any of the Galaxy S20 or Galaxy Note20 variant on Google Fi. For the Galaxy A71 5G, the credit is worth $150. Prior to this, Google only offered some budget Motorola phones under Fi, though customers were free to bring their unlocked phones to the network.

Apart from the above Samsung phones, Google Fi is now also available on Google's own Pixel 4a (5G) and the Pixel 5. Google has also released a Fi 5G coverage map to back its claims of nationwide 5G coverage. You can check the Fi coverage in your area by entering your zip code here.
