Google launches new web store; web purchases to your phone

AndroidAppStore

Today Google showcased what's new with Android during their YouTube broadcast. During their announcements, Google showed off and launched their all new Android Market.

The new user interface is a great improvement over their old market websites. The old website was very hard to navigate and find exactly what you need. The new website makes finding applications and games with a list of categories, breaking down the Android Market to what you're looking for.

The front page now showcases featured applications in a scrollable banner. Below the feature set of applications, are a list of featured, top paid and top free applications on the market, so you can see what's hot right now.

The new Android Market now allows you to remotely download applications to any of your Android-based devices. With a simple click of the install button, you can see your current Android handsets and tables, remotely downloading application or game to your device. The website also features a payment options and currency converter. The store even allows you to download to some or all of your devices, but users should note the selection box only shows supported devices, so your Android-based tablet may not appear under some apps.

The updated market makes it easy for users to see their purchase history for each of their devices. Users can take a look back through their history at any given time.
