Google Pixel 4 may be unveiled on October 15, according to leaked render

Previous leaked render via Ice Universe (Twitter)

There has been no shortage of rumors regarding Google's upcoming flagship smartphone, the Pixel 4. Even though the tech giant itself showcased a picture of the device in June, that did not deter leakers from finding out more about the Pixel 4 themselves. Over the past few months, we have seen numerous leaked renders, the phone's rumored specifications, and more.

And it doesn't look like the rumor mill seems to be stopping any time soon, as now, yet another render of the Pixel 4 showcased by prolific leaker Evan Blass on Twitter (private account) seems to have revealed the announcement date for the handset (via Android Central).

The front display has already emerged through various renders previously. However, the difference this time is that the lockscreen being displayed shows the date, albeit a bit unclearly, of Tuesday, October 15. As followers of Google's previous events might be aware, October is usually the month in which the Mountain View giant unveils its Pixel devices. Last year's Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL were announced on October 9 - also a Tuesday. The aforementioned date spotted in the display points towards a slightly later release for the Pixel 4 and its variants.

Only a couple of days ago, a leaked video uncovered information regarding the capabilities the smartphone's camera might offer, as well as its rumored two-tone design. None of the aforementioned information has been officially confirmed yet, however, so it is advised to take all the rumors with a pinch of salt.
