Google Pixel and Pixel XL now discounted by $100

With the announcement of the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, the Pixel and Pixel XL are now officially last-generation models. The company is well aware of this but instead of taking them out of the lineup, the firm has now priced the handsets accordingly, giving each a $100 discount from their original prices.

Although they have been discounted, the prices won't be cheap, but it is still a great way to get a brand new unit that can showcase the latest from Android. While Android 8.0 Oreo was announced in late August, the version of the OS has still only made it to 0.2% of devices. Luckily, the Pixel and Pixel XL are among the handful that are supported.

As far as specifications go, the handsets offer a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB RAM, and an impressive 12MP camera. The Pixel is the smaller of the two, packing a 5-inch AMOLED display and will come in priced starting at $549 with 32GB of storage. The Pixel XL has a larger 5.5-inch display and will come priced at $669. If interested, you can make your purchase at the source link below.
