Google reveals free Stadia Pro games for July, plus new games releasing this week

Almost every week, Google tends to share what's new or coming soon to Stadia. This week is no exception, and today's blog post focuses on the free games for Stadia Pro members in July, as well as a handful of new releases this week.

For Stadia Pro members, July will bring a handful of free games, including Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Steamworld Dig, and West of Loathing. All of these will be available to claim for free on July 1. Also launching on July first - and going directly to Stadia Pro - is the Crayta, the Stadia-exclusive tool that allows players to create and share their own games using a multitude of tools and assets. The game seems somewhat similar in concept to the PlayStation 4 exclusive Dreams. The game will also be available to non-Stadia Pro users for $39.99/€34.99/£29.99.

Additionally, there's a handful of games arriving on the Stadia Store this week. Wave Break, a "skateboating" game announced for Stadia back in April, is available starting today for $29.99. Two entries in the Metro franchise - Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux - are also available today, each costing $19.99.

Finally, Google is highlighting a few new games on sale this week. These are in addition to the games that were put on sale last week, which you can still get at discounted prices. For Stadia Pro members, the new discounts are as follows:

  • Football Manager 2020 for $25 USD
  • Metro Exodus for $16 USD
  • Metro Exodus - Gold Edition for $26 USD
  • Metro Exodus - The Two Colonels for $4.79 USD
  • Metro Exodus - Sam’s Story for $14.39 USD

As for regular Stadia users, there are three new games on sale:

  • Football Manager 2020 for $34.99 USD
  • Metro Exodus for $20 USD
  • Metro Exodus - Gold Edition for $32.50 USD

If you're looking to get into Stadia, Google lowered the price of the Stadia Premiere Edition to $99 last week, though you'll no longer get three months of Stadia Pro.
