Google Updates Mobile Finance Search

Google has introduced a new stock market search webapp for iPhone users and Android users with Android 2.1 Eclair or higher.

The search result page will show users the current price, as well as the day’s high and low prices along with other data including volume and market cap. There’s also a chart, allowing them to view the stock’s price over the past day, 5 days, month, or a longer period. Additionally, from the new stock view, Users can also swipe across the screen to view Google News headlines related to the stock ticker, market overview graphics, and information for the personal portfolio if one have a Google Finance account and you’re logged in.

The new usability features are launching in English for now, with more language support to follow.
