Google's new Daydream View VR headset is now available for $99

At its October event, Google announced a variety of new products, including its latest Daydream View VR headset. As the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL officially arrive to retail, so does the firm's latest VR headset.

So what makes this model different from the previous year? First of all, the new model will be more comfortable to wear because it is wrapped in a new material. There is also a new strap that will fit over the top of the head for added stability. As far as the lenses are concerned, they have been improved as well, offering a wider field of view. Lastly, there is a heat sink that will keep phones cooler while VR is being used.

If interested, you can order the headset for $99 from the Google Store which is being made available in three colors: Fog, Charcoal, and Coral. Also for a limited time, those that order will be gifted five VR titles worth $40 USD. The titles include Eclipse: Edge of Light, Wands, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, Lola and the Giant, and Virtual Rabbids.
