Grand Theft Auto V PC users will have exclusive access to record, edit and upload gameplay footage

After numerous delays, Grand Theft Auto V is finally launching on the PC tomorrow. While improved graphics and frame rates might be one incentive to buy the PC version, the inclusion of 'Rockstar Editor' might be another.

Rockstar Editor is a new tool for the PC version that will allow players to record and edit videos. You will be able to record videos while playing a mission or when you are just cruising around town. Since it might be impossible to anticipate every amazing moment you might experience, there will be an 'action replay' feature that will allow you to capture a few seconds of footage before and after an amazing stunt.

The Rockstar Editor will also offer a fairly robust editing feature that will make use of a timeline that will allow you to add, rearrange, and trim video clips. You will also be able to add music from tracks provided in-game and change camera angles. Naturally, when you have completed creating your masterpiece, you will also be able to share these video to YouTube.

Grand Theft Auto V for the PC will be available on April 14th, 2015. The Rockstar Editor will be exclusive to the PC version of the game.
