Hands on with Windows 10 for PCs build 16226

Earlier today, Microsoft released Windows 10 for PCs build 16226 to the Fast ring, the first new build in almost two weeks. It contains a ton of new features, such as Emoji 5.0, Edge improvements, OneDrive Files On-Demand improvements, and more. As always, there's a long list of fixes, improvements, and known issues to be aware of.

Some of the Edge improvements include much-needed features for the built-in ebook reader. Aside from Ask Cortana and inking notes, it will finally sync your place in the book between devices. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work between PCs and phones, as phones are not on the same development branch as PCs, with 15226 rolling out today.

You'll also find that a bunch of areas of the OS have been updated with Microsoft's new Fluent Design System. You'll find new Fluent Design elements in areas like Settings and Edge favorites.
