Huawei has a new P30 Pro that comes with Google services

Last month, there was a leak of a new Huawei P Smart, which has the same internals as the old one but in a new chassis. Having the same internals, Huawei is able to continue using Google services on the device. It seems that the Shenzhen firm is trying something similar with the P30 Pro.

Android Authority was able to get the details on the new handset, called the P30 Pro New Edition. Most of the device is the same. It has a HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset, 8GB RAM, a 6.47-inch OLED screen, and a 4,200mAh battery. It also has the same quad-camera configuration.

The only things that are new are the colors and the price. It comes in Black, Aurora, and Silver Frost. Aurora was originally found on the P30 series, but Silver Frost debuted with the P40 series. And the handset only costs €749, a big improvement over the original price of €1,099.

The New Edition isn't offered in colors like Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, or Pearl White, but you can always just get the original P30 Pro. Right now, the P30 Pro New Edition is launching in Germany, and it will be available starting on Friday.
