Huawei's MateBook is now available to pre-order in the US, ahead of July 11 release

Huawei held an event today at the World Trade Center in New York City to show off the 2-in-1 device that it announced at Mobile World Congress. The firm announced that the device is available for pre-order from Microsoft Stores today, and will be made available on July 11.

The MateBook is powered by Intel's latest Core m-series processors, with Core m3, m5, and m7 options available, and with pricing ranging from $699 to $1,599.

The device runs Windows 10 Signature Edition in the US, although Huawei was clear to state that this will be different in various parts of the world. In other words, if you buy a MateBook in the US, you don't have to worry about bloatware.

We'll be reviewing the MateBook over the next few weeks, and you can expect an unboxing video over the next couple of days. You can check out our hands-on with the device from Mobile World Congress right here.
